Established in 1997 by the late Seikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Ghantoot Racing and Polo Club is the birthplace of polo in the United Arab Emirates and luxurious stables in Dubai. Its president, Seikh Falah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, put the club on the world polo map. He is also known to have one of the best stables in Dubai.
A great history and a bright future! Created in 1997 by the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Ghantoot Racing and Polo Club is the cradle of polo in the United Arab Emirates. One can only bow to the long-term vision of this extraordinary builder and visionary. One can even say that this mythical club has become a reference in the Middle East. The considerable work of the club's president, Sheikh Falah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is to be commended for developing the sport in the Emirates and putting Ghantoot Racing and Polo Club on the world polo map.
It is easy to understand the considerable success of the H.H. President Of UAE Polo Cup (13-27 March 2022) organized at the Ghantoot Racing and Polo Club. On this occasion, His Highness Sheikh Falah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the GRPC, did not fail to thank "the Directorate of Youth and Sports, which has contributed to the development of sports in the UAE in various fields" and to praise "the sincere efforts of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and its willingness to develop infrastructure to attract young people to participate in sports activities".
His Highness also set goals for his club. « We intend to do a lot of work in terms of our sport performance and our infrastructure to draw us closer towards excellence » he said. « Our dream will come true. We need to increase the number of international sporting event organizations. This is the best way to progress. I give my full confidence to the members of the board of directors who share with me the desire to succeed and to raise the profile of our club in the media.»
His highness is counting on youth. « We must take advantage of the club’s good reputation at state level and in the countries of the region to attract more and more young people to join us », he said. For this, « we need imperatively creat an academy for young polo players. We have a wonderful infrastructure to meet this challenge ».

The 2,000-seat stadium, equipped with a VIP entrance, media facilities and a business centre, allows the Ghantoot Racing and Polo Club to host international events. As well as this as the club has luxurious catering facilities for celebrations and events with great views of the polo field.
